361 Architecture + Design Collaborative

Posted by liveBooks

Architects, like photographers, rely primarily on first impressions.  We did quite a bit of background research seeking a web developer/platform that could provide a clean visual interface for our site and simultaneously afford us the freedom to make changes quickly.  On the surface, it is difficult to discern the quality of web developers.  At 361, we value collaboration and were looking for a partner with which to co-create our site . After speaking with the liveBooks team, we were thoroughly impressed and made the decision to move forward.  From that point on, all the people that we worked with at liveBooks were articulate, responsive and timely, a far cry from what we had previously experienced in the industry.

By using liveBooks, we’ve eliminated the hassle of having to rely on someone else to modify our site.  Changes are simple, efficient and real time. In addition, they assisted in integrating our blog seamlessly into our site. Van Gogh said, “How difficult it is to be simple.”  liveBooks has met the challenge well.  Go for it!

liveBooks went above and beyond for our new site and we couldn’t be happier! The design and support team were attentive and patient as we worked through the elements of the final product. We have already seen an increase in traffic from SEO and attribute that to the ease of use of the tools in the editSuite. Keep up the great work liveBooks!

Maine wedding venue French’s Point is shaped by the sea. It is an exceptional private coastal estate to host extraordinary events. Located on the Penobscot Bay on the tip of a private peninsula surrounded by breaking waves, boreal waters and manicured gardens it offers everything you need to plan your big event. They have thought of everything… including having their online presence custom designed by liveBooks!

Having a custom website was important to me because it allowed me to develop a strong brand identity through the use of logotype and subtle design cues. My previous site was a mess, and changing images and portfolios was very difficult for me to achieve with out help from a programmer.
The implementation of my liveBooks site has helped me create a professional presence online as well as giving me the tools to edit and change my site with ease and efficiency. The end result is that I have increased traffic and have added new clients since my site went live.

Over the course of Art’s 30 year career as a photographer, he has worked on every continent and in hundreds of locations. His images interpret and record the world’s fast-disappearing wildlife, landscapes, and native cultures, and they’ve been recognized throughout the world for their mastery of color, composition, and perspective.

My liveBooks custom designed website has not only given me a clean, professional, easy to navigate site that I am proud of, but one that I can easily, intuitively manage. It saves me time. Uploading images and modifying galleries is simple. The site admin tools are second to none. You can tweak your SEO keywords, then a few clicks away I can check out my web traffic. liveBooks has hosted my site for several years now with no complaints from me and their support is top notch!

Gene is one of the top wedding photographers in Northern California. Gene is an energetic, engaging creative professional, and his site communicates his personality and talent perfectly. From the vibrant images to the video of “Gene at work,” his site tells you that working with Gene is fun and enjoyable. His recently redesigned website makes it easy for prospective clients to browse through his site. Most wedding site designs are very colorful and decorative. Working with Gene we realized that his personality and colorful images were all the decoration his site needed, so we went with a minimal design to better project his personality and work. It worked, as Gene reports that his site has boosted his business considerably.

Justin Francis

livebooks has always been a great showcase for the still image. I just used the same tools to create something that features my work as a Director/Photographer. The end result is a site where all of my work can feel at home.

Justin Francis: Why I love my liveBooks site
Website: www.justinfrancis.com
Director and Photographer Justin Francis’ new website has created the biggest buzz among the liveBooks staff since we launched the new National Geographic site. Why? Browse through the video pages (available in the “Director” menu area) and see for yourself. Justin asked me to be sure to acknowledge Adam Royer, our Senior Flash Designer, for all his hard work on these pages, which were custom designed just for this project.
