liveBooks is a powerful tool for me and my team. It not only allows me to easily update imagery, but it allows me the flexibilty to easily make design changes. I recently added a new stock inspiration site, a blog and a link to the videos of my photographers. I recognized that people were utilizing some parts of my site more than others and liveBooks helped me create a new landing page that gives equal space to all of the offerings on our site. Now people who prefer to read my blog or search my stock site no longer need to search for those links within the portfolio section. They can find them right up front.
liveBooks understands what photographers need in a website and how creatives search for photography and other content. They are great listeners and I am never disappointed with the outcome.
Heather Elder represents some amazing photographers. She graduated from Boston University and started her career at a advertising agency on the east coast where she worked as an account person. It was while working on the Polaroid account that she realized her interest in photography. She left the ad agency to become an agent and producer for a Boston based photographer where she used her agency background to develop her own style. Almost 15 years later she is representing 9 photographers, blogging, hosting a stock website and consulting with photographers from all over. Her new liveBooks website just launched and there is a lot of great work to see!

Thanks to liveBooks for making it so easy to have a website. With previous websites I had to have a web designer make the updates. It was a painful process. I enjoy my liveBooks site because I am able to manage the content myself – which is essential to my business. I was able to provide my clients real time updates while I was on a shoot in Florida. Now with Scaler my photos are more vivid and easier for clients to see.
liveBooks is exactly what we needed for a new web presence. Being pro photographers themselves they had insight to my unique requirements from the beginning of this project. Images and client references are important to our business and I’m especially delighted with the Custom Testimonials Page leveraging on our concept. It takes our site to the next level with a custom design that does precisely what I envisioned. And being able to have a blog which has the same theme made it so easy. Our blog was live in 24 hours! The fact that liveBooks hosts and supports the WordPress functions is super! Looking forward to many years of collaboration with liveBooks. Thanks again!
If you want to get business as an illustrator and Flash animator, you have to have a powerful, easy-to-navigate portfolio that showcases static images as well as animations. I chose liveBooks to build my website because they understood my vital need to include motion and video, as the need for it grows ubiquitously across the Internet. I’m thrilled that they have partnered with Vimeo to provide pros like myself the ability to present this medium in an easy to manage way via their intuitive editSuite interface. Great job, liveBooks! I can always count on you guys to be one step ahead of the curve!
After graduating from Syracuse University with a dual BFA in design and illustration, Chad worked as a staff illustrator at a large publication firm. He was able to create flash animations for his new website and upload them using the editSuite. Check out Chad’s information pages to see his playful, dynamic style in action.
We made the switch to a liveBooks site because not only did we retain all the features of our previous site, but the liveBooks team is patient and easy to work with.
The interesting use of icons in navigation on Kiyoshi’s website makes it visually very pleasing. The simple colors and graphics convey a minimalist kind of charm. A New York City photographer who specializes in commercial advertising, still life, editorial and fine art photography, Kiyoshi grew up in rural Northern Japan and is the 11th generation of rice farmers. His signature style is a blend of his Japanese aesthetics and sensitivities executed with a Western twist. He favors a rich use of colors, intense blacks, and clean whites.
