Janice Moses Represents

Posted by liveBooks

I am thankful for my relationship with liveBooks – and it grows because of the opportunities and exchanges we have. They gave us the tools and the technology, coaching and support to reinvent the way we do business. The ability to integrate Vimeo changes everything. I am very happy to invest in all the work done by the liveBooks team. Some people go to school to learn, I went to liveBooks.

Janice Moses Represents proudly offers artist representation with a positive vibe and a personal touch. Representing some of the best photographers, stylists and CGI artists she understands the entire process. See how still and motion come together in this beautifully designed website.

When we decided to launch the new and improved Fivecat.com, our priorities were the presentation of our photos and how our prospective clients would best view our work. With a well-developed social context built with Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and multiple blogs, our website is integral to our web presence as a dedicated online portfolio. Our success is contingent on the layout and delivery of our architectural images; liveBooks gave us the tools and support that best showcases our craft. They exceeded our expectations and our projects look fantastic.

…and, if that wasn’t enough…

The user interface for the editSuite makes it simple to keep the site updated and the dedicated mobile sites let us share our work with prospects on the go. We are thrilled with the resulting website and look forward to a long lasting partnership with liveBooks.

11 Roasters: Gourmet specialty coffee

Posted by liveBooks

I have used liveBooks for my photography business website for several years, and have been extremely happy with everything about it. When it came time to develop a website for our coffee company, I knew liveBooks was the answer – convincing my partner was another story.

After the company spent thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours only to end up with an unacceptable website from another web development and marketing company, I was finally given the green light to do what I wanted to do. Within two weeks we were up and running with one of the sweetest websites in our industry.

The coffee business is extremely competitive and we are constantly trying to develop new business in both the retail and wholesale arenas. Having a strong website is key in branding and establishing a name. Everyone has a website, but very few stand out.

liveBooks makes it easy, especially with their preDesigned websites. They leave just enough room for customization to make it your own, but eliminate most of the work. And with their great SEO working in the background, we were starting to show up in searches after only a month.

Being in the photography business I was fortunate enough to be familiar with liveBooks. What a lot of people don’t realize is that their system is flexible enough to allow the websites to adapt to just about any industry, and because of the strong graphic background, your website will stand out and attract all of the attention.

Creating masterful and exciting coffee is not an easy task, and it takes more than a culinary artist to awaken the hidden natural flavors found in these small beans. Founder and roastmaster Bobby Grover does just that with 11 Roasters Coffee. When Bobby founded the 11 Roasters Coffee Company with ex-NFL star, Drew Bledsoe, they had one goal in mind – to produce the best coffee in the world. Steve Tague stepped in after Drew left the team and is now a partner in charge of marketing for 11 Roasters.

Walnuts and Rice creates luxury letterpress card collections inspired by the extraordinary simplicity found in the everyday and a wish to pause moments in time. The story behind Walnuts and Rice is a simple illustration about life. It’s about a handful of walnuts and a handful of rice and how they can live together in harmony. The walnuts represent the things that matter most; the rice is everything else.

361 Architecture + Design Collaborative

Posted by liveBooks

Architects, like photographers, rely primarily on first impressions.  We did quite a bit of background research seeking a web developer/platform that could provide a clean visual interface for our site and simultaneously afford us the freedom to make changes quickly.  On the surface, it is difficult to discern the quality of web developers.  At 361, we value collaboration and were looking for a partner with which to co-create our site . After speaking with the liveBooks team, we were thoroughly impressed and made the decision to move forward.  From that point on, all the people that we worked with at liveBooks were articulate, responsive and timely, a far cry from what we had previously experienced in the industry.

By using liveBooks, we’ve eliminated the hassle of having to rely on someone else to modify our site.  Changes are simple, efficient and real time. In addition, they assisted in integrating our blog seamlessly into our site. Van Gogh said, “How difficult it is to be simple.”  liveBooks has met the challenge well.  Go for it!

They are committed to a world where architecture is accessible and alive, fostering well-being for all people, our communities and the planet. In the design world, having an easy to navigate website with large photos is imperative. The clear, inspiring images on our liveBooks website tell the narrative of our work and process. With the abundance of information on the internet, it’s essential to provide something of value in a website; the visuals on the SPD website give potential clients a clear idea of our craft and the site is full of technical data and design options. The site grabs a person’s attention and gives them a pleasurable look at our line of cabinetry and furniture.

Our liveBooks website allows us to manipulate the site content quickly and easily. The editSuite program is intuitive and user-friendly. The ‘go live’ process is quick and painless. Best of all, we have been able to maximize the number of images on our site, greatly expanding the documentation of our work.

liveBooks went above and beyond for our new site and we couldn’t be happier! The design and support team were attentive and patient as we worked through the elements of the final product. We have already seen an increase in traffic from SEO and attribute that to the ease of use of the tools in the editSuite. Keep up the great work liveBooks!

They have thought of everything… including having their online presence custom designed by liveBooks!

Your website is your most important tool. It is your online portfolio gallery, which is as important as a gallery show, so it should be perfect. In my opinion, source books are a thing of the past and people are going straight to the internet to find their talent… so it better look professional.

As an artist representative, I know you only have one chance to make a first impression. If your website is cluttered or hard to navigate, potential clients move on immediately. I recommend liveBooks to all my fellow creatives. Their sites are clean, simple and look incredibly professional, not to mention they are easy to maintain yourself. I have two liveBooks sites – one for my own personal photography and one for my brand new business.

Be sure and take a look at her new website… it is full of amazing talent. If you agree you can become a fan of her facebook page. You can view her personal work here.

I looked through a generous amount of website hosting services and the templates they offer and honestly, I was getting depressed! Everything was so commercial and undesirable. I wanted something clean and simple. My boyfriend is an amazing photographer that utilizes liveBooks and suggested that I take a look at their offering. Mind you, I’m not a photographer – I have a line of dog collars! As soon as I looked through the templates that liveBooks had to offer, I was sold. So crisp, clean and bold!  Exactly what I was looking for! The awesome team at liveBooks was able to change a few things on the template I chose so that it would better meet my needs. The editSuite that allows you to manage your website is such a breeze to use. I am very happy with the results and the staff at liveBooks has been such a pleasure to work with!
