Commercial Photographer

Photography is my passion and my work. As a professional photographer, one of my goals is sharing my love of images. Getting my images in front of as many eyes as possible, in the clearest, most dramatic way, is truly what it’s all about. Certainly, having a vast portfolio of quality images is key, but displaying them to clients in a bold way is extremely important. It was easy to add custom finishes to my site which really made it my own. Great imagery deserves a great place to be seen and my liveBooks website is that great place.

Since I’m busy shooting, working with clients and building my client list, I needed something that allows me to focus on my photography. If you consider yourself a professional, then liveBooks should be your business partner.

Sean Collins is just scratching the surface of photography at 25 years young. He aims to pave the way for the future not just preserve the past. His clients include Nike, Converse and Cole Haan.

I have used liveBooks for the better part of 6 years for my commercial lifestyle and advertising photography website. I can’t imagine using anything else. I love the clean design and the fact that it is so easy to use. I have also taken advantage of liveBooks SEO capabilities - which has doubled my web traffic!

I worked with the designers at liveBooks to design my custom Scaler website and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The design team was quick and put in the extra time to make sure my site was everything I imagined. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend liveBooks to anyone looking for a superior photography website.

Mike Henry got his B.F.A. in Photography from Columbia College in Chicago. After years of portrait and business editorial, in both New York and Chicago, Mike packed his bags for sunny Los Angeles where he rebuilt his portfolio and began his career as a commercial lifestyle and advertising photographer. Mike’s work is fun, energetic, clean and sometimes leans towards quirky. The kids love him and adults feel at ease in front of his lens.

Mike now spends his time back and forth between L.A. and N.Y. shooting for advertising, editorial and fashion apparel clients. When not behind the camera you can find Mike enjoying the California beach lifestyle just outside Los Angeles in Santa Monica.

As a busy photographer I love liveBooks for its ease of use. The light box makes uploading images and integrated Vimeo video fast and simple. I chose my current liveBooks Scaler site because it was all about showcasing my photos on a larger scale. liveBooks’ clean design helps me better showcase my work.
Clint_Blowers_liveBooks_website

You’ll know Clint when you hear him. The sound of his voice — a distinct hybrid of Southern drawl, Standard Midwestern and actor Owen Wilson — never fails to draw attention.

You’ll also know Clint when you see him; the depth, contrast, and texture of his work has its own unique cadence. Integrated into both his commercial and personal work is a characteristic style that combines natural and studio-built environments, shot in a manner that is as sharp and graphic as possible.

Should you also hear the crashing noise of wooden pins followed by cheers, that’s Clint, too. To be sure, his passion is photography, but bowling runs a close second. When not shooting for work or pleasure, Clint can be found just a few blocks from his studio trying to add 30 pins to his average.

Tim Breaseale: Commercial Photographer

Posted by Sam Eriksmoen

Having a website that can scale is like my own secret weapon that helps me stand out from the rest of the World Wide Web. With the SEO integration of liveBooks, my searchable presence has increased, I am getting more hits on my site, and this means more clients are seeing my work.

Tim Breaseale: Commercial Photographer

When you look at Tim’s work a story unfolds. Each subject is showcased in a way that enhances the viewers curiosity; is the subject the individual or the setting? Be it skateboards, elephants, or models, the story he elicits never disappoints.

I had an existing liveBooks site that was really successful, but after 5 years it was time to upgrade it to a Scaler site. Ryan and Adam from liveBooks’ in-house design team are great collaborators. They built me a site that stayed true to my brand, and that’s also fresh in design and functionality.
David_Emmite_photography_website
Website: davidemmite.com
Photographer David Emmite’s six-year-old “What if?…” imagination sparks his experiments in photography: “What if animals were hardwired to machines?” “What if you could make a zero-gravity energy field?” “What if robots were homeless?” David trained in Atlanta at the Portfolio Center and assisted in New York before eventually landing in Portland, Oregon where he started his own studio in 1996.

His clients include HBO, Pacifico Beer, Progressive Insurance, Gatorade, Nike and many more. His work has been recognized by Communication Arts Photo Annual, Graphis Photo Annual, Archive 200 Best Ad Photographers Annual, The One Show and Photo District News “30 Photographers Under 30.”

When I began thinking about my website, I had broad conceptual ideas
about the look, feel and function of my site, but it was the collaboration
between myself and the design team that let me turn the ideas into a fully
functioning, unique website that spoke to my brand.

The shot. The one you see and it instantly inspires you…fills you with wonderment. These shots don’t happen everyday.
That is, unless you spend everyday with Mark Fisher.Outdoor and action sports photographer Mark Fisher captures magical moments while he hangs from helicopters and composes from cliffs. Fisher takes you right to the spot where even gravity takes a step back.

Mark’s clients include: Patagonia, Columbia Sportswear, Red Bull, The North Face, National Geographic, Outside, Backpacker, ESPN, and the Huffington Post.

I chose a liveBooks Scaler website for the big images, ease of use and the integration with Vimeo. I also knew I could start with a predesigned website template and then customize it to make it my own. There are SO many decisions to be made concerning a website that it can become overwhelming to the point of not beginning at all. So to start with a well designed site that has had a lot of thought put into it and having the ability to personalize it to my taste and needs, made liveBooks an obvious choice for me.

The first response I get from people looking at the site is “love the big images”. Personally I love the intuitive navigation. It is important that you do not have to search around the perimeter of the page to figure out how to navigate the site. I specifically chose a template that had the navigation roughly where I wanted it – on the right side and at the bottom – and then made minor adjustments to make the site my own.

I love the collaboration with Vimeo. Being able to connect to a proven host where I already know the workflow has made integrating video into my site SO easy. And the viewer experience is awesome.

I try to be present in all of the obvious places and portals that art buyers will be looking. All of those places just redirect to my liveBooks website as it has a strong impact. It is important for buyers to instantly know what I do – and they can tell the moment they visit my site. My liveBooks website has made it easy for me to have a successful online presence that allows me to focus on creating new work.

liveBooks, specifically the Scaler functionality, has allowed me to branch out creatively. I feel like I’m not living in a tiny box online. The creative possibilities are endless with the amazing crew that works tirelessly behind the scenes designing sites. In creating this new look, new size, new site – everything I imagined was possible. Everything was handled promptly and professionally. liveBooks is definitely a good crew to have in your corner. Thanks guys.

Southern California based photographer and director, Embry Rucker, has been traveling and photographing people and sub cultures for many years. Embry’s site has an awesome full browser intro video landing page. A random video loop is chosen each time the site is reviewed. How cool is that?

Obviously, in our industry, a striking and well thought out website is paramount. I was initially drawn to liveBooks because of the customizable template idea. I wanted a site that was uniquely mine, but needed some parameters and didn’t want to have to think about coding, etc. My primary concerns were ease of use, elegant design, and uniqueness. I worked with my own designer to come up with the overall look and the liveBooks team took it from there to make it real. It was an easy and smooth process.

I recently upgraded to the Scaler version to get bigger images for those with larger monitors. Yet, those on laptops can still view a well proportioned site without scrolling. Some modifications to my original design were required, and the liveBooks team offered up plenty of options for me to choose from. Looks great, eh?

Charles Harris is an advertising and editorial photographer based in Raleigh, North Carolina. His work has been featured in Communication Arts, Graphics, Print, Photo District News, and many others. When you arrive at his site you’ll be greeted by a vibrant animated splash intro. His client list is quite impressive and can be seen on his liveBooks website.

Once I decided to try out a template site, I did a lot of ground work to find a solution that would best suit my needs. After a lot of research, I found that liveBooks struck the perfect balance between functionality, design options and value. But what really sold me was the Scaler feature. I’m loving everything about my website and getting great feedback from clients!
